Connections and Interfaces
General Connections
Aux. Video HD: Power supply and auxiliary communications for HD XLRS video receiver (XVRE).
Power Switch: ON/OFF switch for SATPRO.
Battery Connector: To connect the SATPRO battery.
Fuse: Value 5A, if the fuse blows due to excessive consumption before replacing it, please consult DMD, because if this happens, there is overconsumption and possibly an electrical fault.
Wifi: Internal or external with SMA-Female.
RCBus: communications line for XLRS systems such as the Data Link WMX481. V1: It is a stereo Jack with power and data. V2: Its a SP13 connector with power and data.
External Connections & Interfaces
External Battery: You can connect a higher capacity external battery to power the SATPRO.
The battery voltage can be between 12Vdc to 24Vdc with a minimum of 5Ah. No matter the battery technology.
You can connect the SATPRO battery and the external battery at the same time, but SATPRO will only consume from the battery with the highest voltage.
The connection is protected, if you invert the terminals nothing will happen. You can use the supplied cable.
External Interfaces:
It has RCBus, Ethernet and Wifi. For third-party devices we have USB (CURCB) and Serial TTL adapters (CTRCB).
RCBUS: Communications between XLRS devices. You can connect directly to XLRS Ground Controls Stations such as GCSD4, GCSD5 or XLRS remote controllers.
Ethernet: Communications between HD video (XVRE) and PC or GCSD4V2, GCSD5, etc.
In versions 1.x Ethernet is only available for HD video and other devices, not for commands or access to the SATPRO position.
In versions 2.0 Ethernet is available for HD Video, other devices, sending Mavlink packets, communication and control with SATPRO for positioning and control additional functions.
Wifi: At the moment, not available.
USB: You can connect a PC to directly control the position of the SATPRO using XLRS SATPRO software, commands or use Mission Planner, QGround Control or similar to 115.200b. You will need the CURCB converter.
Peripheral interfaces:
Ethernet Vídeo: Communications for XVRE HD video receiver or any local device that needs ethernet. It also works as a normal Ethernet for any system that is in your arms and needs it, such as a video camera.
Aux. Video HD: Power supply and auxiliary communications for HD XLRS video receiver. Can be used for other peripherals.
RCBus: communications line for XLRS systems such as the Data Link WMX481. It is a stereo Jack with power and data.
Serial TTL: You can connect your Mavlink telemetry transmitter and receiver to a CTRCB module.
