GCS Ground Control Station

The GCS parameter is used to select whether the SATPRO will connect to an XLRS Ground Control Station, such as the GCSD5 or GCSD4V2+ from DMD.

• GCS Connection Indicator:
  • If selected, and the GCSD5 communicates with the SATPRO (via RCBus or Ethernet), the indicator will turn green. If there is no communication, it will turn red, as shown in the image, and the SATPRO will emit an intermittent alarm beep. The SATPRO will use the GCS timer and synchronize with it.
  • If not selected, the indicator will not appear, and the SATPRO will not beep if it does not communicate with the GCSD5. The SATPRO will use its internal timer.
