Initial Setup for UDP or TCP Connection

1. First Connection:
   • If you entered via the COM port, it is possible the form might not fill completely the first time. You can close and reopen it until it completes or at least shows the first Ethernet ports.
2. Configure Network Settings:
   • Set the IPDEST of port 8000 with your PC’s IP (use CMD > IPCONFIG to find it).
   • Set State to ON, Type to UDP. Prop should be CMD and ECHO should be OFF.
   • After changing the settings, press Enter even if it is a selector. The text will turn red, indicating it is pending an update to SATPRO. Press SAVE and wait until the text returns to its normal color.
   • Verify that the parameters you changed are now correct.
3. Open Communications in the Menu:
   • Check the parameters for the UDP port: it should match the SATPRO port 8000, Local port 9000, and IP 192.168.1.225 or the IP you configured for SATPRO earlier.
   • Activate OPEN UDP. It will ask if you want to change the port; select Yes.
   • If successful, the port will open and the configuration data for the UDP connection will turn green.
4. Monitoring UDP Connection:
   • If everything is working correctly, you will see commands in the text box and the responses in the console.
   • If you only see commands changing in the text box but no responses, the UDP connection was not successful.
   • You will need to reopen the COM port to communicate with SATPRO.
   • Check the Ethernet configuration and try again. If it still does not make a valid connection, try using Open TCP to connect with SATPRO via TCP.
5. Using TCP for Initial Tests:
   • For TCP and initial tests, you can use a pre-configured port like 8004, which by default is a TCP server and does not use the destination IP. The PC can have any IP compatible on the network.
